"Well," began Charjer. "We were all there, in some sort of underground chamber. I remember seeing Gowrie down there..."

"Gowrie!?" gasped Smirk.

Charjer nodded. "Except she was still weakened from our last encounter. Then I heard something behind us, so I turned around and was face-to-face with a balrog." By now, his story had drawn the attention of everyone inside the first aid station and they started murmuring in panic. "It slashed at me," Charjer continued, "and flung me back. You all attacked it and knocked it down, but didn't kill it because it got back up and broke through the group and came straight for me. That's where it ended."

There was a long silence when Charjer had finished, which was broken by Ryoga. "Nothing else happened?"

Charjer thought for a moment. "Oh," he recalled. "Right at the end, when the balrog got to me, there was a really bright light. And then I woke up."

Gohan looked at Ryoga. "This sounds serious." Everyone nodded in agreement. "Any ideas where to start searching?"

"We could try Hafnia," suggested Sven.

"Okay," Ryoga agreed. "Let's go." Everyone got up and entered the carriage that brought Cueball and Gohan back to the floating island and Cueball requested that the driver take them to the township of Hafnia.

"Where are Kechara, Kaerith, and Electra?" inquired Charjer.

Ryoga answered, "They're on Angelesey assisting in the rebuilding of the druid temple there. I left early to see if I was needed here. Good thing I did." Charjer nodded and let out a breath.

The group arrived in Hafnia as noon set in and the sun bore down on them, causing everyone to begin their search in haste. However, their search yielded no results.

"So what now?" asked Ate, eager to get out of the sun.

Ryoga thought for a moment. "What about Lindon?" thought Smirk. "A lot seems to happen there."

"Good point," remarked Gohan.

"Yes, good thinking," Ryoga said in agreement. "I'll have Min meet us there. We may need the extra help."

With that, everyone piled back into the carriage and began their journey to Lindon.
