After the ice crystals had dissipated, everyone saw a mysterious figure move towards them.

"Raziel!" exclaimed Cueball. "We thought you died."

"I did," he replied. "But, as I crawled through the crawl space from the Barbarian camp, I drank from this vial," he said, showing everyone the vial.

Ryoga took it and smelled its contents. "Essence of amber," he said. "Known to have been used by Tarnan the necromancer."

Raziel nodded. "That's right. I always take some before a mission I know has a low survival rate." He moved past everyone and picked up the crossbow he had dropped during his first attempt at assassinating Gowrie.

Ryoga walked over to where Gohan's weapon had fallen and picked it up. Everyone watched him as he moved to Gowrie's icy throne where he planted the blade. He stood there for a few moments before turning to the group.
