As the group was laughing at Gohan as he slipped on melting snow, a medium-sized figure entered the park wearing a large patched cloak.

Ate and Cuball noticed him first. "Min!" they yelled together as they went up to greet him.

"How have you been?" asked Ate.

"How is your training at the monastery?" wondered Cueball.

"That's what I've actually come to talk to you about," replied Min. "There is a huge problem there. The eternal fires have grown cold."

"That's not a good sign," said Ryoga. "The fires of Mantegor Monastery have been ablaze for thousands of years. Only one person I know of has enough power to put them out."

"Who?" Charjer said out loud.

"The Ice Witch, Gowrie."

A large figure entered the park. "If she has indeed returned," he said, "then we are truly in trouble.
