Chapter 6

Dinner came and went. It was long and arduous, not to mention boring. The princess, everyone was notified, was served dinner in her room. Stalin always thought of Labor as an idiot. At least he was an idiot that could be controlled. After dinner, Stalin walked back to his room. As he walked in, he noticed that the window was open. Pulling out a .357, he cautiously went in and turned on the lights. Sitting on the bed was Ben Dover.

"It took you long enough," said Stalin, putting his gun away.

"Yeah, well, it wasn't exactly easy finding a way to get here you know. You could've at least left me a plane," answered back Ben.

"I did leave you a plane."

Ben thought for a moment. "Damn. Kusomaki must've taken it. Bastard. Had me locked up. Then when I got out, I had to buy a ticket."

"How did you get out?" asked Stalin.

"Well, those bars aren't exactly indestructible. All you need is a little leverage and you can bend them."

"You bribed the guards, didn't you?"

Ben looked out the window. "Yeah."

Stalin sighed. "Never mind. We must move fast if we want world domination. Unfortunately, gaining China was very important."

"I have to ask, why? What do they have that no one else has?"

"Oh, someone else has what China has, just not enough of it," replied Stalin.

"And just what is this "it" we're talking about?" asked Ben.

"Nuclear warheads." Ben looked at him wide-eyed. "Yes. China has enough to destroy half of the capital cities on the planet. Unfortunately, that's not enough. But, I control enough nuclear warheads to destroy the other half."

"What do you mean control enough nuclear warheads?"

"What do you think I am Mr. Dover? Swedish? Nyet. I am Russian. Where do you think the other warheads are stored?" Ben didn't answer. "Fine. I'll tell you. They're outside of St. Petersburg."

"St. Petersburg....Florida?" asked Ben.

Stalin rolled his eyes. "Nyet, you idiot. St. Petersburg. The one in Mother Russia." He pulled Ben off the bed. "Get your own room, this one is mine. We have to get up early tomorrow."

"How early?"

"Early enough to invade Canada," replied Stalin before going to sleep.
