Chapter 4

Parlez-Vous Francais?

Roberto Stalin was still flustered about the thought of Kusomaki Furikake coming after him after giving him that ultimatum. To think that a simple-minded warrior like Kusomaki was going up against a genius like him. Still, it was always a good idea to play it safe. He took Princess Xiaoyu and a couple of men with him and made his way to his private landing strip. Roberto was an accomplished pilot, though it had been a little difficult to fly the plane to Russia with the princess hitting him. This time he had her tied to her seat.

Before takeoff, he called his contact in Mexico, Manuel Labor. He was an old friend of Roberto's and now he was serving his sixth term as the President of Mexico. Roberto made arrangements with him to stay there for a while.

After Stalin departed from his landing strip, a car pulled up to the Kremlin. Out stepped Kusomaki Furikake and Tiffany Svendish. They rushed to the front door and stood at both ends. Kusomaki drew his katana from its shaft and Tiffany pulled out two glocks. Tiffany opened the right door slowly and peered inside. The front hall appeared to be empty. They entered silently. Fortunately, they both knew where Stalin's office was.

They both went in separate directions to check the rooms before Stalin's office. Tiffany went down to the left and Kusomaki to the right. After finding four empty rooms, Kusomaki continued down the hall. At the corner, he stopped and peered around the wall. There were five guards standing and chatting. He looked to the other end and saw a part of Tiffany's head peering out. Gesturing to her, he tried to say he was going to cause a distraction.

He rolled out and ran at the guards quietly and swiftly. He was upon them before the first saw him. He struck two down before they could get their guns out. The other three had their guns up and were about to fire on Kusomaki until two of them were shot by Tiffany. The last guard looked around in disbelief, then felt a sword pierce his chest.

Kusomaki and Tiffany opened up the doors to Stalin's office and entered. It was dark inside, but once they were in, the lights automatically turned on. Stalin's office was very high tech. Almost everything in there was automated. When they reached his desk, two large screens to either side of them flickered on. It was a video of Roberto Stalin.

"Kuso-sama. Tiffany. I see you've finally made it here. But as you can see, I'm nowhere to be found and neither is the princess. You may have stopped me from taking over China, but Mexico is already in my grasp. It's only a matter of time before I have the United States and Canada. Let's face it, I am smarter than you are. You will never be able to stop me. But I like challenges. I've already given you a hint as to where I am. Let's see if you can find me."

The message ended with Stalin laughing, then the screens flickered off. Kusomaki and Tiffany looked at each other. "So, does this mean we're going to Mexico?" asked Tiffany. Kusomaki nodded. They turned and walked out of Stalin's office.
