It had been two weeks since Gowrie had been vanquished and nothing of interest had swept through the Land of Mordor during this time.

Charjer had grown closer to Kechara during this time and one week ago, had officially been called a couple by Cueball. Charjer had also been impressed by the hospitality of the inhabitants of the floating island and decided that he would take up residence there. He had spent the last week working on a tree house.

When it was completed, he took everyone on a tour after first showing it to Kechara. It was well hidden among the trees as everyone could see. Parts of it did stick out from the tree itself, but it was colored to seem as if those parts were branches with leaves on them as well.

It wasn't soon after he had furnished it that Kechara had moved in with him there.

It was two days after they had begun living together that news of an outbreak of monsters spurred from the town of Lindon. Kechara and Charjer walked into the first aid station and were greeted by Ryoga, Ate, Cueball, Smirk, Min, and Raziel. Soon after they sat down, a young boy ran in, out of breath.

"I bring news from Dunblane," he said in between breaths. "Lindon is overrun with demons."

"Demons?" inquired Ryoga. "Is there any more news?"

The boy nodded. "They're moving east. Last word from Zeezer was they were splitting up. Half of them are going to Hafnia and the other half are searching for the rainbow."

Ryoga gave the boy a pat on the head and a handful of gold coins, then motioned to one of the beds for him to rest in. "You'll be safe here," he said to the boy. The boy nodded and went to lie down. Ryoga turned to the others.

"This is getting to be a dangerous situation. They're moving to Darbonne. We must get in touch with the local militia and enlist their aid."

Ate stood. "C'mon, let's go." He walked to the entrance of the first aid station and everyone followed him out.
