Everyone rushed outside past Min to see if they could pinpoint the source of the wailing.
Min sighed. "Typical," he said to himself. "Something always happens when I find something cool." Then he turned around and followed the others outside.
They were running out of the park area towards the Day and Night Mortuary over to the run down establishment of Tarnan, a necromancer who lived through the war with the witches.
Everyone entered to find a wailing Tarnan.
"Sir Tarnan," said Ryoga. "What is the matter?"
Tarnan looked up at them as if they had always been there. "It has been years," he said. "Years! I still have not forgotten her."
"Forgotten who?" asked Ate.
"My first and only love," he replied. "Elmoren." Ryoga gasped.
"What is it?" asked Charjer. "Who is Elmoren?"
"She was a powerful witch that tried to take over the great city of Valimor," explained Ryoga. "She was one of the reasons why Darbonne floats above the Land of Mordor."
"Oh," said everyone else in sync.
"Is there anything we can do to help you, Tarnan?" asked Cueball.
"I think," he began. "I think...if I could have her locket. Could you retrieve it for me? You could try looking somewhere in Lindon."
Smirk smiled. "Why not? It'll give us something to do for at least today."
Everyone agreed and went out, leaving Min behind holding the rune he found.
"Guys!" he yelled. "Rune. In my hand. Aw hell." And he followed everyone out again.
