The villager ran, his robes in tatters and barely clinging on to him. He ran frantically, as though he was being chased. Yet, he couldn't hear his pursuer behind him.

He had been training to become a druid. During his final test, it would be decided that he would become a fully fledged druid. But something had gone wrong and he was in mortal danger.

As he ran, he missed an uncovered root and tripped on it. He turned over while on the ground and screamed as he saw his pursuer for the second time that night.

His scream continued until his assailant attacked him. No sound was heard afterward.
