The village of Lai Chi was a bustling place. This day was no exception. The street was cluttered with visitors from neighboring towns shopping around at the street market. The village's merchants gathered there every other day to sell their wares: vegetables, poultry, fruit, even pigs.

The small restaurant also made good money during these days. It was at this restaurant that Angel, a mouse, Mango, a lion, and Peanut, a turtle, worked. Angel was the dishwasher, Peanut was the waiter, and Mango was the cook. They thought that this day was just as any other market day: dull and full of profits. Today, they were wrong.

Hop and Musubi ran into the village, all the way to their little restaurant. They caused quite a commotion when they arrived. On the way into the village, Hop tripped over a pig, causing him to roll. Musubi didn't see him and tripped right over him, causing him to roll, too. So on they rolled all the way to the little restaurant called "Ess Fo Ah".

"Whoa! Are you two all right?" asked Peanut, the waiter, after helping Hop and Musubi off the ground.

Musubi looked over at Hop. He nodded to him. "Yeah, we're fine," replied Musubi. "We're very sorry about....the........mess........" Hop and Musubi looked at the restaurant wide-eyed because of the huge hole they had made in one of the walls. Then they saw some of the Danji Yi's henchmen running towards the restaurant.

Hop looked at Musubi. "Well, at least it's not one of the clan leaders." Musubi nodded.

"Ready?" asked Musubi.

"Whenever you are," replied Hop.

They started to leave when Angel jumped in front of them. "Hold on! Where do you think you're going?" he asked. "Someone's going to have to pay for this mess."

"You see those guys over there that are running over here?" asked Hop. Angel looked and nodded. "When they get here, they're going to trash this place just to get to us. You wouldn't want that, would you?" Angel looked over at Mango and Peanut who were at the doorway to the kitchen. They both shook their heads. Angel looked back at Hop and Musubi and shook his head in response.

"Good," said Hop. "So will you allow us to take care of these guys?" Angel nodded then stepped out of their way. Hop and Musubi dashed out of the restaurant towards the approaching henchmen. They stepped back in about 10 minutes later. "Well, that was fun."

Musubi nodded and turned around. He saw 20 more henchmen running towards the restaurant. He tapped Hop and said, "I think now is a good time to leave."

Hop looked back and saw them, too. "Oh yeah, time to go."

"Wait!" exclaimed Angel. Mango and Peanut came up behind him. "What about our restaurant?"

Musubi looked at Hop, then at Angel and said, "When those guys get down here, you won't have a restaurant anymore."

"It would be a good idea to come with us," Hop told them.

Angel, Mango, and Peanut looked at each other then nodded. "We have some friends in the town to the East..." said Mango.

"Yeah, in Bai Bai Bai. There's an inn there where we have friends," said Peanut.

"Okay, good. Let's go," said Musubi. They departed the restaurant and started towards Bai Bai Bai. On the way out of the village, they heard a loud crash. Looking back, they saw that the little restaurant of Ess Fo Ah had collapsed.
