As Gohan and Charjer made their way quickly toward Uland Island, the sounds of a skirmish could be heard. As they broke through some heavy brush, they came upon the battle.

"Well," began Charjer. "It looks like we found them." Gohan nodded and attacked a group of orcs that were about to ambush Smirk from behind. Charjer moved over to assist Cueball while Ate and Ryoga took care of the last large group of orcs emerging from the cave.

Mihraw stood at the entrance of the cave and observed the ensuing battle and noticed that his force's numbers were dwindling. He swore to himself.

"Retreat!" he yelled to those who remained. All at once, they left their engagements and retreated to the heavy brush. Mihraw addressed their attackers one final time before following his minions. "I shall remember those responsible! You have not seen the last of us, warriors!"

The group gathered at the edge of the pool as they watched their enemies flee.

"Well," said Cueball, "that was fun."

"Let's return to that tavern," suggested Ryoga. "I think we're all entitled to a drink." Everyone agreed with a grunt and made their way back to Stonehaven.
